Magic City Brewfest 2008 final thoughts

Danner has published a very long synopsis of the good things and the not so good things at the brewfest website which is well worth a read. We are totally committed to making the Magic City Brewfest an event which all of Alabama can be proud of, and we are doing that by listening to you, the attendees of the event, and working to correct the problems that happen when running an event of this size.

Thank you all so much for making MCBF2008 such a great weekend!

I have enjoyed the festival for the last two years. I would suggest having water available. A member of our party was feeling poorly (even before the festival) and there was no water available anywhere.

We even try to buy some from many vendors who were obviously drinking bottled water but were unable to buy it. There was water available last year to rinse out the glasses, even this would have helped.

Secondly, maybe two sessions on Saturday and one on Sunday. Set a limited number of tickets for each event; and if a session is sold out in advance, the don't sell anymore tickets at the gate.

I guess you need to figure out the size of a crowd you can handle within the confines of the Sloss furnance.
